All DC REBIRTH Details Revealed!
DC Comics Co-Publishers, Dan Didio and Jim Lee, along with DC’s Chief Creative Officer, Geoff Johns, just spilled the freaking beans regarding all things DC REBIRTH! When/where did all this happen? Well, it happened today a 9:30 PST at the WonderCon comic book convention!

What’s DC REBIRTH!?? It’s a “soft” reboot of the entire DC Comcs’ line that kicks off with the 80-page DC UNIVERSE: REBIRTH hitting May 25th, followed by REBIRTH prologue issues and brand new #1 issues in June. Yep, it seems DC is modifying its continuity to be more reflective of its legacy-filled narrative, and also granting it additional synergy with DC’s TV and movie universes.

Firstly, the one-shot kicks off the event in May:
The 80-page DC Universe Rebirth by Geoff Johns, Gary Frank, Ivan Reis, Phil Jimenz and Ethan Van Sciver. Johns teases this reveals “the biggest secret in DC Universe…ever.”
The Batman Family
Batman – by Tom King, David Finch and Jordie Bellaire.
Detective Comics – by James Tynion IV, Eddy Barrows and Alvaro Martinez (featuring Batman, Batwoman, Tim Drake, Spoiler, Cassandra Cain, and Clayface).
Nightwing by Tim Seeley, Javi Fernandez and Marcus To (Oh, and Nightwing is back in blue).
Batgirl and the Birds of Prey – by Julie Benson, Shawna Benson, and Claire Roe.
Batgirl – by Hope Larson and Rafael Albuquerque.
All-Star Batman – by Scott Snyder (who just recently signed an exclusive contract with DC), John Romita Jr., Jock, and Sean Murphy. Book will feature a rotating team of artists.
Batman Beyond – by Dan Jurgens and Bernard Chang. Welcome back, Terry McGuinness!
The Superman and Wonder Woman Family
Action Comics – by Dan Jurgens, Patrick Zircher, Tyler Kirkham and Stephen Segovia.
The New Super-Man – by Gene Yang and Viktor Bogdanovic. Teeange boy from Shanghai with Superman’s powers.
Supergirl – by Steve Orlando, Brian Ching and Emanuela Luppacchino.
Trinity – by Francis Manapul and Clay Mann.
Superwoman – by Phil Jimenez and Emanuela Luppacchino.
Superman – by Peter Tomasi, Doug Mahnke and Patrick Gleason.
Wonder Woman – by Greg Rucka (he’s BACK!), Liam Sharp and Nicola Scott. Alternate issues will also will tackle a “Wonder Woman: Year One” storyline also drawn by Scott.

The Justice League Family
Justice League – by Bryan Hitch, Tony Daniel, Fernando Pasarin. Two GL’s for the price of one with Green Lanterns Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz. And of course, we get Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Flash and Cyborg.
Justice League of America – (no creative team announced)
The Flash – by Joshua Williamson, Carmine Di Giandomenico and Neil Googe. Flash trains a gaggle of new speedsters. Godspeed (who looks a little like The Flash TV show’s Zoom) will be the main villain.
Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps – by Robert Vendetti, Ethan Van Sciver and Rafa Sandoval. The Green Lanterns fight to take back the universe from the Sinestro Corps. Also features GL alumni John Stewart and Guy Gardner!
Green Lanterns – by Sam Humphries, Robson Rocha and Ardian Syaf. Features “green” Green Lanterns Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz fighting the Red Lanterns.
The Green Lantern: Rebirth one-shot will be co-written by Geoff Johns and Sam Humphries with art by Ethan Van Sciver.
Cyborg – by John Semper, Will Conrad and Paul Pelletier.
Aquaman – by Dan Abnett, Brad Walker, Jesus Merino and Phil Briones. Aquaman will lead into Geoff Johns-plotted “The Rise of the Seven Seas” arc.
Titans – by Dan Abnett and Brett Booth. The band is back together as Arsenal, Nightwing, Tempest and Donna Troy make their return.
DC Heroes
Harley Quinn – by Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti, Chad Hardin and John Timms.
Suicide Squad – by Rob Williams Jim Lee and Phillip Tan.
Green Arrow – by Ben Percy, Otto Schmidt and Juan Ferreya. And YES, he has his goatee!
Red Hood and the Outlaws – by Scott Lobdell and Dexter Soy.
The Hellblazer – by Simon Oliver and Moriart.
Deathstroke – by Christopher Priest (holy CRAP!), Caarlo Pagulayan, Igor Vitorino and Felipe Watanabe.
Blue Beetle by Keith Giffen and Scott Kolins. The book features both Jaime Reyes and Ted Kord. Wait. Ted Kord??
Teen Titans – by Ben Percy and Jonboy Meyers. Damian Wayne tries to take over the Teen Titans.
