First Look at DC’s WonderCon 2016 Variant Covers!
On March 25th, DC Entertainment visits WonderCon at the Los Angeles Convention Center! This visit is especially nifty due to DC’s generous offering of several AMAZING variant covers COMPLETELY EXCLUSIVE to WonderCon attendees! So, without further ado, here’s our first look at DC’s WonderCon 2016 Variant Covers!
The first 3 variant covers celebrate the debut of Batman V Superman, gracing the fiftieth issues of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman with stunning, Batman V Superman character photos. How much are they? Why, for the paltry sum of $10 each, you can own a photographic cover featuring a principal player from the sure-to-be-amazing film.
The next batch is a series of variant covers for Dark Knight III: The Master Race, specifically for issues 1-3. Let’s break it down, shall we?
Issue #1 features a cover by Howard Porter (Superman, Justice League 3000). Price? $15.
Issue #2 features a cover by Jill Thompson (Scary Godmother). Price? $15.
Issue #3 features a cover by Paul Pope (Battling Boy, Batman: Year 100, Heavy Liquid). Price? $15.
Oh! And there’s another issue #1 variant, but it’s completely devoid of any artwork. What? Don’t fret; it’s just a BLANK SKETCH COVER. For $10, you can purchase one of these and charge right on over to artists’ alley. Now, shake your favorite artist, point to the blank sketch cover variant and scream, “Draw, b*tch!” Okay, don’t actually say that.
Before I leave you, I should probably tell you where these variant covers are actually located; it’s a pretty big convention and you might get lost, or in an act of desperation, fall over, curl into the fetal position and cry until a nice paramedic feeds you an ice cream sandwich. Anyway, they’re on sale at the Graphitti Designs booth (South Hall, Booth #1403). You’re welcome.
