Early Tracking Looks Good for Batman V Superman
That’s not a real big surprise though, is it? Better than that speculation that Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice only had a 32% chance of making a profit! According to Deadline and their sources, current early tracking looks good for Batman V Superman! So Batman and Superman coming together for the first time on the Silver Screen is going to make some money? Crazy! Sarcasm aside, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is speculated to open up around 100-140 million dollars on their opening weekend which is fairly close to what Deadpool opened up at. However, it should be noted that it is exceedingly difficult to project openings above 100 million due to the magic of statistical sampling.
“Conversation for #BatmanvSuperman spiked 60% with 5K combined hashtags across Twitter and Instagram. Ninety-five percent of the chatter is positive about that R-rating,” stated Deadline and social media monitor RelishMix. Ah, the power of social media! Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice opens up March 25th, 2016 which is over Easter Weekend so that should help the take a bit with everybody home for the holiday! Gotta love the extended weekends, right? Batman V Superman stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, and Gal Gadot.
