New Civil War International Trailer!
Yes! It’s another look at the forthcoming Captain America: Civil War film courtesy of a recently released trailer currently wowing audiences in Japan! Yep, this Civil War international trailer was shown to the innumerable Japanese fans of Captain America and the Avengers! YAY!
Am I jealous? YES! Although I really shouldn’t be. Honestly, there’s not a heck of a lot of new footage there, but I swear there’s a few additional moments of Falcon in flight and Winter Soldier looking especially angst-ridden. Oh, and there’s the super-cool, incredibly bold Japanese text layered over the seemingly familiar scenes of this highly anticipated Marvel film. When I see bold, Japanese characters over, well…anything, I immediately think of Ultraman. Or, any Japanese film or anime having to do with giant, fighting robots. You see, I’m a HUGE fan of Gundams, or any of the super-robots conceived by legendary creator, Go Nagai. Anyway, no giant robots to speak of in this Civil War international trailer (unless the Hulk-Buster makes an appearance), but there’s certainly plenty of fantastic, sci-fi action!
Ready for Captain America: Civil War? Ready to choose a side? Which side? Do you support the accords, and the need for super-human accountability and oversight? Maybe you support the personal liberties of the individual, and the right to be tried before a jury of your peers, even though you’ve been assassinating people for the better part of 6 decades. Hmmm. This is perplexing.
Captain America: Civil War debuts May 6th, 2016, starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Martin Freeman.
