Star Wars: The Force Awakens TV Spot #4

Star Wars: The Force Awakens TV Spot #4!

Once again, Lucas Films strikes with another Force Awakens TV spot revealing a little bit more of what’s to come on December 18th. Star Wars: The Force Awakens is, very obviously, the most anticipated and anxiously awaited film of all time. Unfortunately, J.J. Abrams isn’t in the business of salving our anxiety. Just like the previously released posters and trailers, Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) is absent once again from this TV spot. However, Star Wars fans have no need to fret considering J.J. Abrams told Entertainment Weekly that Luke will be an integral part of the film:

“We were hoping people would care, but there are a lot of things that are not on the poster, as busy as the poster is. Certainly Luke is a very important aspect of the story.”

The majority of the cuts shown in this new Force Awakens TV Spot are the same ones we’ve seen before. The only cut that is different is the one of Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). Lucasfilm has done a fantastic job of keeping Kylo’s background under wraps, which gives us no choice but to review the facts in a nicely organized, bullet-point presentation:

What We Know About Kylo Ren

  1. He is not a Sith.
  2. He’s obsessed with Darth Vader (creepy).
  3. He has a lightsaber. A red, pulsating, screaming-mad lightsaber with a crossguard.
  4. He’s versed in the Dark Side of The Force.
  5. He’s a member of the Knights of Ren and The First Order.

What We Don’t Know About Kylo Ren

  1. Where he came from.
  2. What mission he’s continuing and what it has to do with Darth Vader.
  3. What his personal motivations are.
  4. The name of his pet salamander (a legitimate question).

Anyway, enough about Kylo Ren.

Now, for your convenience, we rounded up a bunch of Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailers, teaser trailers and TV spots. Why? Because someone has to keep score, darn it all to heck! We also realize we may be missing anywhere between 6-24 visual Force Awakens promotions, since there seems to be an infinite number of them floating about in a sea of limitless Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailers, teaser trailers and TV spots.

Enjoy, and enjoy again! Wait, I think tomorrow’s December 18th! Oh…no, it’s really not.
