Warcraft Movie Pushes Limits

The video game movie world has been a desolate place since Super Mario Brothers first aired. Hey, those are mighty big shoes to fill! Joking aside, the Warcraft movie looks to push technological limits in the above video. As explained by Duncan Jones (the director), the Warcraft movie is a massive piece that includes varying sets, graphics, characters, and locations. He calls it, “The biggest filmmaking you can do,” and after watching the above video…that kind of makes sense! I have to say, as a big fan of Blizzard, the look of the Warcraft movie is exceptionally close to the in-game world. Look at that tavern scene…I think we all know what the upstairs and basement looks like (that is if you played World of Warcraft). If not, well, you can just take our collective words for it! You can also definitely tell that all of the people involved in the Warcraft movie are exceptionally proud of their work and I hope that it translates into the film.

Warcraft opens up on June 10th, 2016 and stars Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Robert Kazinsky, Daniel Wu, Ruth Negga, Anna Galvin and Clancy Brown.
