HBO’s First Westworld Trailer
Ever wonder what it would be like to visit a place that seemed locked out of time? Perhaps you are a huge fan of Back to the Future III or Tombstone. Or maybe you’ve read a certain book from Michael Crichton. Or a movie from the 1970s. Or maybe you’ve just got 1,000 bucks to spend and you’re looking for a crazy ‘vacation’. Whatever the answer is, consider the above! The Westworld Trailer is the first look at HBO’s latest series. What does the Westworld Trailer entail? How about robots, gun fights, old-timey Western settings, and an existential question about being. Oh yeah, JJ Abrams’ production company Bad Robot is involved with this badboy!
Unfortunately, the Westworld Trailer does not show off a medieval or Roman setting. That might be for another season…or another trailer. Based on the novel by Michael Crichton, Westworld is set in the near-future where a company runs a special type of vacation experience. This said ‘experience’ allows vacationers to visit three different adult amusement parks. These amusement parks cater to the darkest and most impulsive of human nature and the robots are programmed to respond in kind. However, since this is a Michael Crichton book you know things go wrong! Remember Jurassic Park or Sphere? Exactly!
Westworld stars Ed Harris, Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Jeffrey Wright, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Kyle Bornheime and Thandie Newton. Westworld is set to release in the fall of 2016 on HBO.
