“X-plosive” New Footage in Two International X-Men: Apocalypse TV Spots!
So the first batch of reviews for X-Men: Apocalypse were kind of a mixed bag. So what. Even though a good portion of the reviews were kind of “meh,” they still pointed to positive, triumphant occurrences in the latest X-Men film regardless of the aforementioned, mild litanies of naysaying. In fact, thanks to new footage in two international X-Men: Apocalypse TV Spots, there are now more triumphant occurrences to positively salivate over as Nightcrawler and Archangel fight, Quicksilver rescues unlucky passersby, and Psylocke stops a thousand-foot fall with a psychic sword. LOOK UP! PRESS PLAY! ENJOY!
The very first X-Men: Apocalypse TV Spot (above) features a few new scenes of Apocalypse looking especially intimidating, wielding especially destructive….fire. Cut to Quicksilver, who’s currently rescuing some very unlucky citizens caught in the massive Mutant melee, and then Psylocke; she free-falls from a super-jet and slows her descent with the classic application of a psychic sword to available infrastructure.
The second trailer (below), features a few more shots of Apocalypse destroying the sh*t out of things, Nightcrawler and Archangel fighting in midair, and then a noticeably shaken (and bald) Professor X exclaiming, “Is this how it all ends?”
