If you follow The Source (which you need to start doing if it isn’t happening automatically) you’re completely aware of the deluge of DC REBIRTH info that just hit this past Saturday at WonderCon. What kind of info? New books, new creators and a return to DC’s legacy-filled greatness. So, because we already gave you an incredibly thorough overview of the DC REBIRTH event, I’m going to jump right to the dirty details and expand upon each particular ‘family’ of DC books (with pictures, too). So, let’s kick things off with a look at the family of DC REBIRTH Batman books hitting this June!
Batman – by Tom King, David Finch and Jordie Bellaire. This hits shelves on June 1!
Detective Comics – by James Tynion IV, Eddy Barrows and Alvaro Martinez (featuring Batman, Batwoman, Tim Drake, Spoiler, Cassandra Cain, and Clayface). Issue #934 hits shelves on June 8th!
Nightwing by Tim Seeley, Javi Fernandez and Marcus To (Oh, and Nightwing is back in blue). Hits stores July 13th!
Batgirl and the Birds of Prey – by Julie Benson, Shawna Benson, and Claire Roe. Hitting stores July 13th!
Batgirl – by Hope Larson and Rafael Albuquerque. Hitting July 13th!
All-Star Batman – by Scott Snyder (who just recently signed an exclusive contract with DC), John Romita Jr., Jock, and Sean Murphy. Book will feature a rotating team of artists.
