Happy New Year! This year will see several big name releases of some of our favorite superhero films and X-Men is no different! We will all get to see Resistance Pilot-turned-mutant tyrant warlord Oscar Isaac in X-Men Apocalypse with a cadre of greatly enhanced mutants. Of those mutants, Olivia Munn plays psychic assassin Betsy Braddock or as she is better known as, Psylocke! To celebrate the New Year, Olivia shared this image of Psylocke on Instagram. Unfortunately, there are no psychic mind-blades or anything like that…we’ll have to wait for the real-deal would be my guess.
Awesome! It certainly looks like there will be plenty of carnage and combat in X-Men Apocalypse. Fans are definitely excited to see what Bryan Singer will do with this deadly and stylish character. Let’s just hope they skip right past Psylocke’s troubled past…and by that, I mean the whole brain-switching thing. Sometimes she’s from England…and other times she’s a crazy ninja! How does that work? I’m not quite sure but you should probably read the comics! X-Men Apocalypse brings the fight to the world May 27th, 2016 and stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn and Lucas Till.
