NO! In the new, recently released trailer from the forthcoming DC animated film, Batman: Bad Blood, Batwoman explains to Batman-by-necessity, Dick Grayson, and current Robin, Damian, the recent cataclysmic event that lead to Batman’s death! AH!
What was it? What did Batwoman witness? Unfortunately, nothing too concrete. Yes, she was in the very same explosive locale (old warehouse go BOOOOOM!), but Batman apparently hurled her to safety at the very last moment. Batwoman, shaken but alive, sought to return to Batman’s side and continue mixing punches with Firefly and Tusk, but…it was too late; Batman was gone. Hiding? Maybe. Reduced to Bat-ash? More than likely.
After Batwoman begrudgingly confessed the occurrence, Batman (old Robin) suggested a team-up, saying, “If you’re serious about hunting them down (Firefly and Tusk) then maybe we should work together.”
What was Batwoman’s response to a logical proposal that was apparently misconstrued as an affront to her independent, substantial capabilities? Batwoman squelched the proposed cooperative effort by tersely stating, “Just because I wear this (motioning towards her unique Bat-symbol) doesn’t mean I’m a part of your little cult.”
EeeeYOUCH!
Batman? Dick? Just…just leave her be.
