Black Panther Overpowers Cap in New Civil War TV Spot!

This brand new, 30-second Civil War TV spot doesn’t contain an overabundance of newness, but what it does contain is actually pretty freaking amazing. Yep, Black Panther overpowers Cap in this new Civil War TV spot, and honestly, it looks like Cap might be wrestling above his weight class. Wear a trash bag and hit the steam room, Cap!

So, let’s break down the infinitesimal-but-worth-noting newness pervading this new Captain America: Civil War TV Spot:

1. Tony Stark agrees with limiting, modifying, and lawfully governing the application of super-people in a theater of conflict, stating, “We need to be put in check.”

3. Captain America disagrees with Tony, responding with, “Tony, the safest hands are still our own.”

4. The (probably very temporary) arrest of the Winter Soldier!

5. Cut to an obviously conflicted, trepidatious Tony Stark who says, “I’m doing what has to be done…to stop something worse.”

6. Blah Blah Blah…things we’ve already seen…

7. The Falcon questioning strategy, presumably Tony Stark’s: “How long are you gonna’ play both sides?”

8. Blah Blah Blah…

9. PANTHER LUNGES AT CAP! He grabs the shield and…and…He’s overpowering Captain America! Good. Bring that traitor in kicking and screaming, T’Challa.
