New details are emerging regarding the conflict within Marvel’s much anticipated film, Captain America: Civil War. You read that spoiler warning, right? Okay…you good? Everybody out of the room? Yeah? Alrighty!
Ever since rumors started appearing that Tom Holland (the new-NEW Spider-Man) was in Germany, where they are filming Civil War, people wondered what he was doing there. Now, apparently we know because Spider-Man will get into a tussle with Marvel’s First Avenger!
Of course something like this has happened in the comics before; in the comic story arc of Civil War, Iron Man recruits Spider-Man to the Pro-Registration cause and Peter publicly unmasks with tremendous repercussions for his personal life. I won’t spoil the rest of that story, but let’s just say there is a precedent set for this already!
Captain America: Civil War is set to release May 6, 2016 and stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Frank Grillo, Tom Holland, William Hurt, and Daniel Bruhl.
