There isn’t a great deal of additional, previously unseen footage in this brand-new Doctor Strange International trailer, but we do see a few more scenes involving catastrophic, dimension-mangling action as conflicting forces spell-cast the hell out of each other across ever-changing, steel-splitting landscapes. Yup. Anyway, it’s Stephen Strange begrudgingly accepting the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme, accepting the tutelage of The Ancient One and properly annoying Kaecilius in the following international trailer. Look up! What’s especially interesting is seeing the Cloak of Levitation bouncing around inside its clear glass case. Does it understand the importance of its forthcoming relationship with the silly little neurosurgeon who, 10 minutes ago, thought “magic” was restricted to pulling rodents from top hats and rendering understudies in half? Perhaps.
And The Ancient One is quite sure he can handle any conflicts thrown his way, considering she spent so many years peering through time, and looking….for him.
Can Doc Strange properly defend the integrity of the Multiverse against the evil Kaecilius? Perhaps.
