Although the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly promised extensive San Diego Comic-Con coverage, there was nary a superhero gracing the cover. Of course, this means squat considering the content inside, specifically, the very first batch of Wonder Woman movie stills taken directly from the forthcoming film! OBSERVE!
1. The costume looks amazing; there is no contesting its brushed antique aesthetic meshed with well-armed divinity.
2. We get a good shot of Chis Pine’s Steve Trevor addressing a mildly unimpressed, and somewhat disappointed Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot). Ugh. Men.
3. Director Patty Jenkins on the set with Gal Gadot. Taking a look at the background, it appears Wonder Woman may have razed an entire forest. Well, that’s what you get when you try to bombard Diana with tank shells: THEY BOUNCE OFF!
So, are you excited for the 6/2/17 release of Wonder Woman? After seeing these new images, I have to admit….my curiosity spiked considerably.
Based on the legendary character created by William M. Marston, Wonder Woman is Directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Jason Fuchs, starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, and Lisa Loven Kongsli. Wonder Woman hits theaters, Minotaurs, Centaurs and possibly Ares on June 2, 2017!
