Are you ready for a DC Comics Office show?
According to sources at Deadline, NBC has ordered a pilot for a work-place comedy based in the DC Comics universe called ‘Powerless’. It will feature a single camera format made popular by the likes of the popular show that also aired on NBC, ‘The Office’. I guess they are looking to fill in the gap left by Steve Carell? Who should star in the DC Comics Office?
The show’s premise will follow ‘normal folk’ who work at the ‘worst insurance company in the world’ and they happen to have to deal with the causality of having superheroes. Superman coming crashing through your house makes a far more interesting story than a guy in a two piece suit and a band-aid underneath his eye doing the same thing and calling himself ‘Mayhem,’ but he may be a super villain come to think of it.
