New cast members have been revealed for the upcoming season of Agent Carter. We now have our main villain, Madame Masque (Whitney Frost), being brought to life by actress Wynn Everett. Of course, her history is linked to Iron-Man’s but we won’t get in to that just yet… Possibly a plot line for the upcoming season? We also have Ana Jarvis coming into the series played by Lotte Verbeek. Ana Jarvis, of course, if the wife of Edwin Jarvis, butler to the Stark family.
Agent Carter Season 2 does not have a premier date just yet, so we’ll just have to sit back and wait until more details are released!
For now, here’s a little background to spark your interest: Madame Masque’s history is quite elaborate; she was born into the Nefaria’s mob family but given up to the Frost family to be raised. When the Frosts died, her father revealed himself to her as the leader of a mob-like group, the Maggia. Later, when he was imprisoned, she became the head of the Maggia, becoming the new, “Big M,” which is where she came in contact with Iron-Man. Due to an accident while raiding Stark Industries, her face was scarred and she made herself a gold mask, naming herself, “Madame Masque.” Then, of course, her history and Iron-Man’s became more intertwined as she became his secretary, which lead to a torrid love affair. It always happens that way, doesn’t it?
