Wait, a new Batman animated movie coming out? Oh, happy day! This brand new snippet from DC Comics shows off both a brand new trailer for Batman Bad Blood, and everybody’s favorite crazy old guy yelling at the “youngins” to get off the yard, Frank Miller! I think that’s his official title over there at DC these days but I could be mistaken. I’m still waiting on the Frank Miller book where Robin opens up an avant-garde restaurant that serves freshly prepared rat.
So what is this new movie about? Well, it looks like Batman is missing and Nightwing takes up the mantle but he isn’t without help! Batwoman, Batwing, Lucius Fox, and Damien-Robin all lend a hand. Will Dick Grayson be able to handle the cowl? What happened to Batman? Does somebody else get bumped up to Nightwing status? I guess we won’t know until we get that super sweet movie, scheduled for a 2016 release!
This new movie stars the talents of Jason O’Mara, Gaius Charles, Yvonne Strahovski, Stuart Allen, Morena Baccarin and Ernie Hudson (of Ghostbusters fame). Oh, and this movie also includes a clip of Frank Miller talking about the Dark Knight, so you can start getting excited for that as well!
