Is it Christmas? It sure feels like it with all these new The Defenders promo videos! Just today, released on Twitter, we got another 17-second video. Just like the last two, the video starts with “The Strong Survive” and closes with “Those Who Surround Us, Define Us.” The characters introduced this time? Trish Walker, Claire Temple, and Stick!

Third Defenders Promo Video Confirms Trish Walker, Claire Temple, and Stick
I’m here to share my CHI!

How cool is this! Considering the on-set pictures we saw yesterday, Jessica is going to need some friends! And since Trish Walker is, well, her only friend, this is a welcome addition!

An appearance by Claire Temple, aka the Nick Fury of The Defenders, has been exuberantly demanded by fandom, so Claire enthusiasts can rest easy with this confirmation.

Rosario Dawson (Claire) has appeared in every Netflix/Marvel show so far, and we assume she’ll be patching up Danny Rand in Iron Fist. Considering the blooming romance between her and Luke, leaving her out would have been a negligent misstep.

I’m not surprised Stick was announced. With the teaser trailer we were given at this year’s SDCC, his involvement was made obvious. I mean, he’ll probably stop by just to berate Matt, but it’s always a pleasure to watch.

With production on The Defenders finally starting and a promo video released every day, we’re wondering just who in the hell is popping up next. Lei Kung the Thunderer? Bullseye? Elektra? One of the blue-colored Care Bears or Cobra Commander?? We need to know!

The Defenders debuts on Netflix in 2017, starring Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Finn Jones as Iron Fist, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Jon Bernthal as The Punisher, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Simone Missick as the absolutely stunning in EVERY WAY Misty Knight, Scott Glenn as the returning, cantankerous Stick, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Sigourney Weaver as….the villain.
