New Batman v Superman International Trailer

I’ve recently concluded that Germany gets all the good movie trailers, or at the very least, it gets them in a more timely fashion. From which nation did the first, slightly blurry, overdubbed Star Trek Beyond trailer originate? That’s right, Germany. And now, solidifying its movie trailer supremacy, it released a Batman v Superman trailer with about .00000036 seconds of additional footage. It’s a new Batman v Superman international trailer, and it gives us a few previously unseen, microscopic clips of Superman and Batman discontinuing any chance of a mutually beneficial relationship.

Yes, it’s overdubbed and a little blurry, but it’s always nice to hear Superman demanding Batman’s surrender in the curt, sharply pronounced, commanding German tongue. It’s also nice to hear Batman referred to as’ Die Fledermaus’ before he avoids a giant laser beam with a width comparable to a great oak tree.

I did notice, however, that there’s a severe lack of Wonder Woman in this Batman v Superman international trailer. Hmmm, I think I’m going to take back what I said regarding Germany’s movie trailer superiority; the newest English-speaking trailer with Wonder Woman and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Tur…sorry, Doomsday…is actually a lot better. Although, this German trailer is only a TV spot, so they may have a full trailer out there comparable to the second North American trailer rife with at least .0000036 seconds of additional footage. AHHH!

As I struggle to decide which nation plays the better movie trailers, Batman and Superman begin their struggle on March 25, 2016. Starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams and Laurence Fishburne, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is directed by Zack Snyder.
