As we march towards the inevitable premier of the highly anticipated Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, we get to see more and more teasers. I guess the people in marketing don’t think we’ve been properly sated yet! This latest picture comes from the official Batman V Superman twitter and shows off the statue erected in the Man of Steel’s honor after…um…Man of Steel! I guess when you have a bare knuckle brawl that levels half the city but you end up saving the world the people want to show you that they do in fact care. I’m not entirely sure how Batman feels about that though! The picture came with caption ‘False God’. Well I guess we do know how Batman feels!

False God?
False God?

This ‘False God’ has an official closeness to Atlas, does he not? In the last trailer, we saw Batman muse that if there was even a one percent chance that Superman would want to destroy the world, then he has to treat it as a 100 percent chance. I guess the Dark Knight of Gotham is rather intimidated by the presence of a nigh-god that could just punch the world to death. Is that something he could actually do? Probably…Zack Snyder is directing it. Actually, that probably means that this is all a fever dream of Batman and he’s in the middle of a lobotomy. Joking aside, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice comes out March 25th, 2016. Find all of your favorite Batman V Superman gear here!

  1. I don’t understand what this sentence is supposed to mean ? ” In the last trailer, we saw Batman muse that if there was even a one percent chance that Superman would want to destroy the world then he has to treat is a 100 percent chance. ” It makes sense up to the part that says ” … then he has to …” – something.

    • Hey, Stuart. Thanks for catching that for us. The sentence should read like this: “In the last trailer, we saw Batman muse that if there was even a one percent chance that Superman would want to destroy the world, then he (Batman) has to “treat it as” a 100 percent chance.”
