It has begun! Aww, a real shame Shang Tsung didn’t introduce this clip. Continuing with the deluge of information from CW and DC’s special last night before The Flash, this clip is our first glimpse of Wonder Woman footage. What kind of things can you expect to see? Well, you get to see our Princess from Paradise Island dispensing ‘peace to Man’s World’…which I think in this context involves a fair amount of spin-kicks. I guess that’s one way to use an executive order! Hooray for politics!
Set against a World War 1 background, Kevin Smith and Geoff Johns introduce this clip where we see Gal Gadot pretending to be a civilian, rolling some Kaisers (sometimes I amuse myself), and riding horses interjected with Chris Pine, Gal Gadot, and the director Patty Jenkins talking about how awesome the movie is going to be and how the world needs Wonder Woman. Between the Suicide Squad trailer and this Wonder Woman footage, the DC cinematic future looks bright indeed! The film is directed by Patty Jenkins and screenplay by Jason Fuchs, and stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya and Lucy Davis. Scheduled for a June 23, 2017 release!
