Thanks to our good friends at Entertainment Weekly, we’re granted our first detailed look at Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hela (Cate Blanchett), and Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson); they’re sizably displayed in full glorious color on the cover of this month’s Entertainment Weekly. OBSERVE!
When asked about the clipping of Thor’s long, divine locks, an elated Hemsworth told the trade, “It was nice not to have to sit in the makeup chair for that hour each morning. It felt like a rebirth for me as the actor but also as the character.”
Hemsworth went on to express his support of the film’s obvious tonal shift, fully aware that change is necessary in order to successfully perpetuate a franchise.
“I have a belief that if you’re lucky enough to get to part 3 of a franchise, it is your obligation not to fall to threequel-itis.”
I’m sure we’ll be running out to stores and grabbing the issue very soon, so stay tuned for more Thor: Ragnarok updates right here on The Source.
