Wait, how does Hulk get ‘Hulkier’? We’ll get to that in a minute! In a recent interview with ET to build up hype for Now You See Me 2, Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo decided to make some comments directed at his slightly greener incarnation! “It’s an intergalactic buddy road movie with Banner and Thor,” Ruffalo said of the format of Thor: Ragnarok. Considering that the guy who directed What We Do In The Shadows is helming Thor 3, it will be interesting to see where he takes the ‘Two 30 Megaton Bomb’ characters to, right General Ross?
The actor then joked, “The Hulk gets Hulk-ier. The Hulk Hulks out. Hulk-ier and bigger.” We’ve heard some speculation that there might be some nods to the comic book world’s Planet Hulk storyline which could easily fit into the advanced space theme that the Thor movies currently embody. I wonder how long it will take our society before we start using hammers made out of black holes? Any-who, Ruffalo then reassured everybody that Thor: Ragnarok is still very much a Thor movie and went on to absolutely praise Cate Blanchett’s Hela!
“She plays the worst of the worst. So evil,” Ruffalo added. “She is going to kill us. It’s such a great part she gets to play.” Hela is the Asgardian Goddess of Death in the comic books and is Loki’s daughter…from a previous version of Loki from that reality’s Ragnarok! Ah, comics. I do love a good plotline! So we get a badass villain and the Hulk gets Hulkier…sounds like Thor: Ragnarok might be a winner!
