Okay, okay…I’m waving the white flag here. The Disney/Marvel, Civil War Trailer/TV Spot assault has been unrelenting, unforgiving, and even a little inconsiderate seeing as how that’s another 30 seconds of plot I’ll never be able to psychologically disown before the film’s illustrious, American premiere. I mean, I’m super-excited for this film, but I really, really want to be…(*gasp*)…SURPRISED! Regardless, as previously mentioned, I’m lacking the willpower necessary to refrain from pressing “PLAY.” So, here we go; it’s a new Civil War TV Spot where Iron Man warns Cap with a mildly sarcastic, “Time to take the gloves off,” as both continue their unseemly display of super-powered pugilism! LOOK UP! PRESS PLAY! ENJOY!

A few things worth noting:

1. Black Panther removes his mask, surrounded by some hard-looking, highly trained soldiers. Did they successfully capture the Panther, or did he simply surrender? Because it’s the Panther, I would say he simply grew tired of dodging their bullets, incapacitating their air support and scalping their commanding officers. Okay, he doesn’t scalp, but his horrifically imposing veneer implies otherwise.

2. Cap isn’t faring well against Iron Man in the aforementioned, pugilistic display. Cap should be thankful Iron Man isn’t raining destructive Repulsor blasts from a safe vantage point nestled just beyond Earth’s atmosphere.

Captain America: Civil War opens on May 6th, 2016 and stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp, Tom Holland, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Daniel Brühl.
