SPOILERS AHEAD, MATEYS! Yeah, you read that right…the Game of Thrones producers apologized on Jimmy Kimmel last night. Yeah…they apologized…for a death…on Game of Thrones. We didn’t get one for Ned Stark. We didn’t get one for the Red Wedding. We didn’t get one for the Hound. We didn’t get one for the Red Viper(which I’m still salty about). Whose death could warrant such an outpouring of emotion? How about Hodor! Yep! For some reason, his death resonated with the viewing audience and it makes perfect sense. Hodor was probably the only innocent character on the entire show and the reveal on why he said ‘HODOR’ is sure to have a lasting effect on pop culture. That is actually what the above video is about; the Game of Thrones producers of Mark Benioff and D.B. Weiss apologized. Not for Hodor’s death…but what is sure to become a phrase that is now often yelled in public. I guess we should get to it, eh?
