I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE! Daredevil Season 2 debuts 3/18 on Netflix, but it isn’t 3/18 YET and IT’S KILLING ME! AAAAAH! Well, to help assuage my grating longing, and to perhaps help mitigate the need to utilize UPPERCASE LETTERS, Netflix recently released 2 new Daredevil Season 2 motion posters! They’re posters…that move! It’s like Blade Runner, but happening NOW! Check ’em out!
Firstly, it’s the Punisher walking away from what I’m calling a “battle damaged” Daredevil. He’s moving into the misty city streets granted an ominous effervescence due to the glowing, text-filled cross. Religious overtones are always in abundance here in Hell’s Kitchen.
Secondly, it’s the Punisher’s worn, calloused paw handling a bloody Daredevil mask…that happens to be WITHOUT the mask-wearer. This image really pushes some very strong implications our way, particularly the implication that Daredevil is….dead. Or tenderized severely, to the point where he can’t open his eyes, speak without spitting teeth, or urinate without passing intestines. Ewwww.
Debuting 3/18/2016 on Netflix, Daredevil Season 2 stars Daredevil/Matt Murdock, Foggy Nelson, Karen Page, Frank Castle/The Punisher, Elektra, Stick, maybe Kingpin, possibly Stilt-Man (but I really doubt it ), 7000 members of the Hand (or 10,000, depending on how motivated they are) and Typhoid Mary (no, but that would be AWESOME!).
