The Daredevil/Netflix official Facebook page just released ANOTHER new Daredevil season 2 trailer; this one focuses more on The Punisher and features intermittent interviews with Charlie Cox (Daredevil ) and Jon Bernthal (The Punisher). So, I’m going to stop with all this prefatory bullsh*t and simply introduce this new Daredevil Season 2 trailer with interviews. OBSERVE!
So, the Police aren’t sure just what the hell is happening. Initially, they’re thinking it’s a massive magnification of gang on gang violence. However, they’re starting to discover, through ballistic reports and the testimony of terrified survivors, that this is the work of one EXTREMELY INSPIRED, highly trained individual. Oh, and those terrified survivors? They’re referring to him as ‘the Grim Reaper.’ The Police? They’re starting to refer to him as…The Punisher! AAAH!
In one of the brief interview segments, Jon Bernthal offered a few insights regarding his entry – as an actor – into the world of Daredevil:
“This is an evolution of The Punisher. I dove into the show and I fell in love with this world, how dangerous it was. It was a world I desperately wanted to play in.”
Debuting 3/18/2016 on Netflix, Daredevil Season 2 stars Daredevil/Matt Murdock, Foggy Nelson, Karen Page, Frank Castle/The Punisher, Elektra, Stick, maybe Kingpin, possibly Stilt-Man (but I really doubt it ), 7000 members of the Hand (or 10,000, depending on how motivated they are) and Typhoid Mary (no, but that would be AWESOME!).
