The next season of Game of Thrones will be even bigger? Wait, are they aware of the zombie army from the last season? They are? Jeez, that’s a bold statement coming from Sansa Stark, who is played by Sophie Turner. When we last saw poor Sansa Stark, her and Reek were making a rather fleeting escape into a snow bank. Can’t say that I blame them…Ramsey Bolton was super sadistic with his flushing of the toilet while people were in the shower. That’s what he did, right? Joking aside, Turner spoke with Entertainment Weekly and let us all know that this will not only be the biggest season for her, but for the entire series!
“It’s probably her best season yet. It’s her really coming into her own. She, this season, really commands the respect that she deserves and she grabs hold of it and she runs with it and it’s really good,” said Sansa Stark. It’s about freaking time – we’ve been watching that poor girl get kicked around since season 1 and every season I feel like it can’t get worse…and then it does. Hopefully she gets a listen from Arya Stark on vengeance…“It was amazing because the past five seasons, it feels like it’s been building up and up to that,” she said. “You can only suffer so much before she finally gets her, the respect that she deserves.”
“I mean this season there’s like so many shocks, it’s massive,” Sophie added. “It’s the biggest season yet. And just like in terms of character development, so many people’s storylines, I’m so excited for. I’m so excited to see Alfie’s (Alfie Allen, who plays Theon Greyjoy/Reek) one this season. It’s going to be good.”
