We’ve been keeping you up to speed regarding FOX’s X-Men-related Legion series starring Dan Stevens as David Haller, a mutant stricken with multiple powers assigned to multiple personalities. The show was recently picked up by FX for an 8-episode first season, with a scheduled 2017 release date. FOX seems especially proud of this series, and to express said familial glee, FOX will be airing the X-Men Legion series simultaneously across 125 countries carrying the FOX network.
“Legion brings the X-Men universe to life, as a character driven, serialized TV show, in a truly amazing new way, and we’re pleased that X-Men fans will have the opportunity to see it simultaneously in the 125 countries where Fox is available,” said Fox Networks Group Chairman and CEO Peter Rice.

Legion stars Dan Stevens, Rachel Keller, Jean Smart, Aubrey Plaza, Jeremie Harris, Amber Midthunder, Katie Aselton, and Bill Irwin. Noah Hawley will serve as executive producer and showrunner. Lauren Shuler Donner, Bryan Singer, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb, Jim Chory, and John Cameron will also serve as executive producers.
