Here it is in all its dystopian, noir-ish, grainy and gray-scarred glory; it’s the first LOGAN teaser trailer, and it shows a Wolverine at the end of his prowess and existing in a state of seemingly intolerable, emotional anguish. Basically, it’s the live-action Wolverine we’ve been waiting for.
After Hugh Jackman tweeted the title; after the creation of the regularly updated wponx Instragram account, and after FOX submitted the teaser trailer for its rating classification, we knew this puppy was hitting the interweb-waves pretty gosh darn soon. So, here it is. Breathe it in.
Wolverine….sorry, Logan….is kind of a mess. The X-Men are dead, the landscape resembles the surface of the moon, and no one anywhere gives half a smiling sh*t about sh*t. It’s a harsh world, you see. Too harsh for a young girl to survive it all alone. If only someone with a single, solitary particle of compassion could step in and unbind this child from the machinations of her tormentors. If only someone gave half a smiling sh*t about sh*t.
