Check out this AMAZING promotional piece featuring Batman and Superman in the midst of a significantly silent, stern stand-off, positioned upon cratered, upended earth! Voilà!!
I’m very happy to see some color being applied here. Earlier trailers, especially the one involving Superman warning Batman against heeding the Bat Signal, looked like it was shot in black and white. I mean, so much of what I’ve seen regarding this film is a grim-noir throwback to the 1940s where women were called ‘dames’ and men never cried. Ever.
Thankfully, we have some color. Oh, and apparently some of this was shot with IMAX cameras. Maybe that guarantees some incredibly sharp, high definition scenes of Superman spitting blood after taking an armored Bat-forearm to the face. Maybe.
Debuting March 25, 2016, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams and Laurence Fishburne. Oh, and probably a lot of unhappy citizens caught in the crossfire when Superman and Batman indulge in a pee-pee contest.
