So, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is finally upon us, and its purpose is twofold: firstly, it’s here to introduce Batman and Superman, and then beget an impetus behind their mutually shared hatred. Secondly, its purpose is to creative the narrative foundation for a DC Cinematic Universe, and the characters inhabiting said universe. Specifically, the Justice League. Now, the Justice League film isn’t hitting until November 17th, 2017, but we sure as hell want to know how production is going and, well, anything else we can wring from the all-knowing mind of Batman V Superman director Zack Snyder. Thankfully, in an interview with our friends at Yahoo!, Zack dished a little info on the forthcoming film, and even revealed the individual responsible for assembling the Justice League!
“I’m getting ready to start ‘Justice League’ on the 11th of April, so in like two weeks we start shooting, and it’s an intense, awesome, and gigantic undertaking because Bruce [Wayne] is having to go out and sort of ‘Seven Samurai’ the Justice League together, which is fun.”
Hmmm. So, Batman admits he needs help. How very un-Batman of him.
Snyder continued, “It’s slightly monumental, and at the same time they’re starting to grapple with this coming threat.”
Psyched for Justice League? How about Batman tracking down some wonderfully dangerous metahumans and assembling the Justice League? Should he be escorted by someone more personable? Let us know below!
I’ll escort him.
