GAH!! It’s our very first look at Hugh Jackman as Wolverine on the set of Wolverine 3 (which is very heavily based on the comic series titled, “Old Man Logan”). You remember “Old Man Logan,” right? Writer Mark Millar’s post-apocalyptic story involving a noticeably older Wolverine struggling to survive a perilous landscape where super-villains rule and superheroes…Well, all the superheroes are dead. Sh*t. Anyway, this “first look” at Hugh on the set of Wolverine 3 isn’t strictly limited to Hugh. No, sir. The following set of images from our friends at Just Jared grant us images of Jackman and Stewart on the set of Wolverine 3! Oh, and there’s a little girl running around, but we’re not sure who she is. Hope Summers? Anyway…OBSERVE!
Here’s what we know:
1. Wolverine 3 will be directed by James Mangold.
2. It’s based on the seminal Wolverine Comic series, “Old Man Logan.”
3. It might star a bunch of cybernetically augmented assassins known as The Reavers, including classic X-Men contrarians Lady Deathstrike and Donald Pierce!
The tentatively titled Wolverine 3 debuts March 3, 2017, starring Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Patrick Stewart and Elise Neal.
