Well, we’ve been hearing about it incessantly over the last 72-hours, considering Brazil is hosting its annual CCXP event (a Brazilian comic-con) where Marvel Studios, to bolster its already respectable presence, promised to show the first Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer. So, did they keep that promise? Hell, and yes.
Leaked images, as well as a description of the trailer, appeared online; Peter meets Hogan, gets a package marked “upgrade” or some suchness, and then Spider-Man’s sporting Spider-wings after doing a flip off the Washington Monument. So, firstly, welcome back, Happy. And secondly, the Spider-wings are always a good thing; a classic bit of Spider-Man ‘costume-ery’ that’s always appreciated.
Anyway, bask in the glow of your favorite, relatively new MCU Spider-Man in his very first trailer.
UPDATE! Now, bask in the glow of the INTERNATIONAL TRAILER WITH NEW SCENES AND DIALOG!
Is it everything you hoped for? Does Tom Holland still have what it takes to make Spider-Man effectively AMAZING for another generation of Spider-fans? I’m going to answer for you: YES AND YES!!!!
And an additional “THANK YOU, MARVEL” for continuing the Tony Stark/Peter Parker relationship. This stuff is BRILLIANT!
