On the heels of the first full Supergirl Season 2 clip, The CW is providing us with yet another brief trailer showing more of what we’re really tuning in for: Superman in action! Yep, it’s Superman, and he’s here to assist in catching plummeting starships before they…uh…cease plummeting indefinitely. And Supergirl is especially excited regarding the oft-imagined team-up. “That was awesome! I mean, it was terrifying, but it was awesome!” Anyway, check out the brand-new footage below showing more Superman in action, and more spellbound onlookers revering Superman in all his super-ness.

So, we learned a few more things about The CW Superman (Tyler Hoechlin):
1. Winn is a HUGE fan. In fact, Superman’s presence causes him to blubber and spout out moderately silly questions, like, “How…how do you shave??”
2. He smells “terrific.” That’s according to Alex Danvers.
3. Cat Grant might have a crush on Clark Kent. Or, at the very least, she might actually consider him an equal.
